With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Nancy Small brings passion, creativity, maturity and a bevy of skills to her clinical practice. She has worked in diverse treatment settings and held faculty positions at medical and graduate schools, where she directed family therapy training programs. In addition to treating the full spectrum of psychological and stress disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression, career concerns), she has a special interest and expertise in marital therapy, eating disorders and women's issues. Her therapeutic approach is based on a relational and systems model, whereby a safe and nurturing environment facilitates the process of healing, growth and relationship enhancement. Underlying her work is the importance of the mind/body connection.
