Evan Forman : Therapist Profile

Picture
Evan Forman
Psychologist

I have foundational training (with Aaron T Beck, Judith Beck and others) in cognitive-behavior therapy, and combine this approach with others, especially the newer acceptance- and mindfulness-based therapies. I tailer my approach to each client's particular set of concerns and to what we collaboratively decide will lead to best outcomes.

I have expertise in treating depression and anxiety disorders, and am well-versed in specific therapeutic protocols for panic disorder, agoraphobia, OCD, PTSD, GAD and social anxiety. I have additional expertise in behavioral strategies for weight control.

As a clinical research and treatment developer (see www.drexel.edu/academics/coas/psychology/formanherbert), I use scientifically-supported appoaches, whenever possible.
