Health Panda came online as a service in October 2009, starting in the Greater Philadelphia metropolitan area. The mission of Health Panda is to help you find a therapist in a most user friendly way.

About Us
Bokenkamp Consulting is an information technology consulting company that implements advanced web-based solutions to help therapists run more efficient and profitable practices. Bokenkamp Consulting has created a comprehensive, on-line directory to help therapists grow their practices and provide patients with an easier and more intuitive way to find the best practitioner for their needs. Research identified a need for patients seeking mental health treatment: the ability to easily search and choose a therapist from a comprehensive on-line directory. There are many directories available; however, they are burdensome for the user, lack detail and provide incorrect information in some instances. Bokenkamp Consulting has filled this void, creating a directory featuring advanced searching, clutter-free navigation and insurance partnerships; none of which are currently offered by existing on-line therapist directories. Furthermore, our directory is free for therapists to join, ensuring the most comprehensive directory and the largest pool of resources for clients hoping to find a therapist perfectly suited to their needs.
The Team
Raymond Bokenkamp, MBA, MS is the founder of Bokenkamp Consulting. He holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Computer Science from the University of Twente in the Netherlands as well as an MBA from LeBow School of Business, Drexel University. Raymond has spent over ten years developing software in academic settings as well as private companies. He started his first company in 1991, a screen-printing business, which is still thriving today and recently expanded from the Netherlands to Poland. Raymond loves to do yoga, run marathons and hike in the Wissahickon Park in Philadelphia with his wife, Lisa, and dog, Jax.
Lisa Colby, LSW holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. Her primary focus at Bokenkamp Consulting is to conduct and manage the research agenda that will inform the creation of timely, innovative, unique technology solutions for therapists. Lisa enjoys hiking in the Wissahickon Park, crocheting, reading, and staying up-to-date on pop-culture.
Armen Karamanian, MD, Ph.D is a successful entrepreneur with a strong academic and professional background in the life science and IT sectors. Armen serves as consultant to Bokenkamp Consulting and provides oversight and guidance to the strategic development of the company's projects. Armen is a Wharton VIP alumnus who led his team to the finals of the Wharton Business Plan Competition and negotiated the initial stage of the option to license the company's technology from Penn Center of Technology Transfer. Armen is passionate about entrepreneurship and in his spare time, he enjoys flying gliders.
Ben Adams, MSE is a passionate user experience designer and his focus is on creating the best possible experience for Health Panda. He has his Masters of Science in Engineering - Technology Management from the School of Engineering and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is so dedicated to User Centered Design, you can find him at various lectures, conferences, and events across the US, including the Higher Education Web Symposium, an annual event Ben helped found. Ben's biggest issue is that he really doesn't shut up about this user experience stuff, so unless you are really interested, don't get him started.
Tom Murtaugh, MBA manages the development of marketing materials and content related to the online therapy directory for Bokenkamp Consulting. Tom holds a Bachelors of Economics from Penn State University and an MBA from LeBow School of Business, Drexel University. Tom has over 5 years of experience in healthcare marketing and training where he worked in sales, managed care, and product development. Tom is passionate about the field of psychology and believes in its potential to positively influence one's life. Tom enjoys writing and playing music, reading, and spending time outdoors with good friends.
